Group CEO Mesfin welcomed the visit of TSA Administrator Pekoske to the Ethiopian Airlines headquarters on Thursday.

“We have been working closely with the excellent team of TSA to ensure that our operations are safe, secure, and in full compliance with the industry standards,” Mesfin said.

He also appreciated the support provided by TSA to Ethiopian Airlines, adding the carrier “would like to nurture the partnership developed over the years”

“We will continue investing in technology and human resources and bolster cooperation with TSA to enhance our safety standards to a higher level.”

Ethiopian has recently expanded its U.S. flight frequencies with the resumption of a direct passenger flight between Abidjan and New York City on its route.

TSA Administrator Pekoske said, “I congratulate Ethiopian Airlines for winning Skytrax awards for six years in a row and for being cargo airline of the year.
