Angola and Kenya are due to have a bilateral commission meeting in October this year to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
According to Angola’s ambassador to Kenya, Syanga Abílio, Kenya has shown interest in exempting visas, an aspect that the diplomat considered important to attract direct foreign investment.

The diplomat made the statement on the sidelines of a visit of Angola’s Vice-President, Esperança da Costa, to the Diplomatic Missions facilities, after completing the agenda for the High Level segment of the African Climate Summit, which ended on Wednesday in Nairobi.
Syanga Abílio said that Angola would make “much more use” of Kenya’s experience in various areas, highlighting the identification of 12 possible cooperation agreements in the areas of tourism, telecommunications, agriculture, education, health and oil, among others.

“We want to bring Kenyan investors to the country, as well as those from other African countries, because Africa has assets that we can capitalise on”, the Angolan ambassador said.
