Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) has announced a significant investment of $50 million in Namibia, aimed at enhancing its production capacity and supporting local economic growth.
The new bottling line, capable of producing 27,000 bottles per hour, represents a 30% increase in output for the plant. This upgrade is expected to stimulate growth throughout the company’s value chain, benefiting local businesses that supply raw materials and services.
In addition to boosting production, CCBA has installed a state-of-the-art water treatment plant with advanced water recovery technology, reducing the facility’s water consumption. The introduction of new technology, including artificial intelligence, will require specialised training for employees, contributing to workforce development and future-proofing skills for both the company and Namibia.

This investment is part of CCBA’s broader strategy to remain a digitally enabled and growth-driven business, ensuring the company continues to offer high-quality service while driving sustainable development across its operations in Africa.
