Ethiopian Airlines has taken a significant step in expanding its fleet by acquiring a new Airbus A350-1000, enhancing its capacity to meet growing global travel demand.
The introduction of the Airbus A350-1000 marks a milestone in the airline’s modernisation efforts, positioning Ethiopian Airlines as the first African carrier to operate this advanced aircraft model. The A350-1000 offers greater fuel efficiency, enhanced passenger comfort, and increased seating capacity, aligning with the airline’s strategy to expand its long-haul routes.
The Airbus A350-1000 is renowned for its fuel-efficient performance, capable of flying long distances while consuming less fuel, which contributes to reducing the airline’s carbon footprint. This aircraft is part of Ethiopian Airlines’ commitment to adopting more environmentally sustainable technologies, supporting its goal of becoming a leader in green aviation in Africa. In addition to environmental benefits, the new aircraft offers passengers more comfort, with quieter cabins, improved air quality, and a more spacious seating arrangement.
